Junior - Mid-weight Event/Activation Account/Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a junior event/activation project coordinator to support the management of projects and campaigns. Requirements

• Some experience in client relationship management
• At least 1 year of client activation experience
• A background or strong interest in events, activations, and project management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fully computer literate
• Keen attention to detail and awareness of budgetary considerations
• Basic understanding of creative processes and techniques, including digital platforms
• Willingness to spend time in meetings, briefings, and on-site at activations
• Availability for occasional travel for client visits and new business presentations
• Only candidates residing in the Johannesburg area will be considered

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating resources needed for projects
• Support in building strategic operational plans and help balance client expectations with creative execution
• Aid in the planning of campaigns and development of business accounts both creatively and financially
• Contribute positively to the agency’s new business program
• Support senior team members in client marketing and advertising strategies
• Assist in creating cost estimates
• Provide support to ensure a high level of client service
• Liaise with clients on a day-to-day basis as needed
• Help promote business expansion with existing clients
• Assist in generating new accounts
• Help complete projects on schedule and within agreed budget and timeline
• Support the management and implementation of account strategies
• Assist in managing campaigns with shared services/operations team
• Aid in the preparation and review of campaign documents
• Help analyse feedback reports
• Assist in developing process flows and refining systems for continuous improvement
