Job Description
We are seeking a junior event/activation project coordinator to support the management of projects and campaigns. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their experience in project and account management within the events and activations space. Requirements
- Some experience in client relationship management
- At least 1 year of client activation experience
- A background or strong interest in events, activations, and project management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Fully computer literate
- Keen attention to detail and awareness of budgetary considerations
- Basic understanding of creative processes and techniques, including digital platforms
- Willingness to spend time in meetings, briefings, and on-site at activations
- Availability for occasional travel for client visits and new business presentations
- Only candidates residing in the Johannesburg area will be considered
Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating resources needed for projects
- Support in building strategic operational plans and help balance client expectations with creative execution
- Aid in the planning of campaigns and development of business accounts both creatively and financially
- Contribute positively to the agency’s new business program
- Support senior team members in client marketing and advertising strategies
- Assist in creating cost estimates
- Provide support to ensure a high level of client service
- Liaise with clients on a day-to-day basis as needed
- Help promote business expansion with existing clients
- Assist in generating new accounts
- Help complete projects on schedule and within agreed budget and timeline
- Support the management and implementation of account strategies
- Assist in managing campaigns with shared services/operations team
- Aid in the preparation and review of campaign documents
- Help analyse feedback reports
- Assist in developing process flows and refining systems for continuous improvement
